It was fun ! There is a meeting for the FAST Team tonight in room 111 at KCC if Sean wants to make it. Just tell him to show up at 7pm and look for camo.

Marianne, welcome to The Field and Stream Team. I had the pleasure of meeting Sean and his girl friend Shawna at our event. They were a big help and we all had a blast. There was a huge coincedence when meeting them. I took a young boy named TJ to kids for camo. He has become a good friend of my son ( Blaise ). When we arrived he said that the car we parked next to was his sisters. I thought he was just mistaken but it ended up being Shawna's car. It was great to meet Sean and Shawna ( names are easy to remember... ). They seem to be two great kids with real heads on their shoulders. Hope to meet you at KCC or one of our F.A.S.T. events coming up.

Marianne, It was great to meet your son Sean (sp?) and Shawna. What a blessing, we needed somone that was familiar with an AR style rifle. He was great with the kids, we sure would like to have him at our meetings and events. Give him my phone number and see if he wants to get more involved. P.S. Welcome Marianne! I also attended that Kids in Camo event, and can relate to the great times had by everyone. It's great to have been apart of that event and hope to "Meat" you and your son at the next one! Welcome!

New to Kensington Community Church or interested in the Field and Stream Team (FAST), tell us a bit about your interests. If you're not new, tell us about your KCC experience, FAST, and your hobbies.

KCC is the place that I give all the credit to for bringing me back to the relationship I had with the Lord many years ago. I starting attending KCC back when the Troy campus was brand new. I attended a mission trip to Quito with one of my daughters (and with Dan & Kelli Kopp) which was life changing. Volunteered to build a house for Habitat in Detroit with another daughter and a great group of KCC attenders. Have had nothing but great experiences with those I have met through this wonderful church. The guys at FAST have always been more then caring in trying to get my son out hunting many years ago, and have once again shown their willingness to be there for us, as they welcomed my son out to the Kids in Camo day, allowing him to volunteer with the group. He had a blast with all the kids! I pray that this experience will lead Sean to connect to more men at KCC and to allow him opportunity to build a relationship with God and fellowship with other men who are strong believers. I am a pistolsmith by trade so I love shooting, and encourage men & women to teach their children about shooting, hunting, and anything outdoors.
