Duncan, Thomas Roy, age 60, a life long resident of Troy, passed away on March 6, 2013. Beloved husband of Charlene (nee Nicosia) Duncan. Loving father of Jennifer Wiseman (Scott), Thomas J. Duncan (Angelica) and Jonathan E. Duncan. Dearest son of Martha (nee Halsey) Curry (George) and the late Roy Duncan. Dear grandfather of Aubrey, Andrew and Ashley. Dear brother of Timothy Duncan (Jeanette) and Matthew Duncan. Thomas was a Troy Firefighter since 1978 and a member of the honor guard. He was recognized as the 2002 Station #2 Firefighter of year, and the 2011 City of Troy Firefighter of the year. He was also a US Army Veteran for over 20 years and was called up to the first Gulf War. Mr. Duncan loved being with his family, loved fishing and the outdoors and will be missed by all the lives he touched. Visitation Saturday 4-8pm and Sunday 2-8pm at Price Funeral Home, 3725 Rochester Road, (between Big Beaver and Wattles Roads), Troy, 248-689-0700. Firefighter’s memorial service Sunday 7pm at funeral home. Funeral Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11am at Price Funeral Home.
