Is anyone going salmon fishing locally? I really wanted to get out there this year still.

Salmon are pretty much done, but steelhead will be getting going anytime. there is alot of good water within a few hours drive of Rochester. Also, peir angling can be good too. this time of year fish will be in close, so river mouths, shorelines with structure, and harbors are all good places to go. Bait will be coming in and looking for warmer water. pm me sometime and i can give you some ideas on where to go, and perhaps come out with us in one of our next outings.
