I spoke with Ramesh this weekend and he is requesting teams to come to Nepal to help with the earthquake relief efforts. The rainy season is coming in July and they want to move as many people as possible from tents to temporary shelters (bamboo and tin) before the rain hits.
We are working to recruit two teams (8 people each team) from Kensington to go to Nepal on June 13-27. The trip will be rugged as the teams will staying in the mountains in tents. Karen will be pulling together more details, but we are planning on having an informational meeting for anyone interested on Tuesday, June 26.
