There is a desperate need for some one from the FAST Team to head up the beverage team for this month's Wild Game Dinner. The previous team leader has work commitments and cannot be there until the evening of the event.
Here is what this volunteering opportunity involves:
- Get 5 Marine size coolers (four of them are from Hartwick)
- Purchase about 112 twelve packs of pop, 30 cases of water, 15 large bags of ice (approx. $1000); contact the Finance Committee for advance funding
- See spreadsheet (see attachment) on what I anticipate to purchase
Last year they hauled all of this in the back for a full size pick-up truck. Also last year they used a Costco membership to lower our costs. You can drop off the beverages Thursday evening prior to the event. So far you will have two additional volunteers to assist you during the event.
I will be at Monday's Orion FAST meeting to explain the spreadsheet to you. Or you can let me know ahead of time too. Time for someone else to step up!!
