here is an email from the organizer of the shoot coming up on the 14th.
Good evening shooters,
We are getting closer to our big shoot -- a week from this Saturday. Lots of excitement in the air. One fellow shooter texted me tonight to tell me he shot a 23 in skeet, 24 in trap, and 45 in Sporting Clays today. His church is coming for the trophy according to him.
So, I am so looking forward to being with all of you and we are going to have a great time. If you could get your final count to me by Monday, Sept 9th it would be helpful as I can let the cooks know how much food to get for lunch.
And just for a little "smack talk," I haven't had the trophy in years and I told my congregation tonight that on Sunday, September 15th, I will be doing a little victory dance and waving it around. So there!
I'm very excited we have so many teams practicing and working for the trophy. And no matter who wins, we will enjoy good Christian fellowship, share a few shooting stories, and build one another up.
