My 9 year old has money burning a hole in his pocket (bday, Christmas and $ he earned). He is getting the itch and was about to buy more legos and things like that. I talked to him about buying a 4 wheeler so he can ride with his buddies. He as about $200 and I told him I would cover the difference and he will work to pay some portion of that back. I have found some used ones in the $300 to $500 range. Looking in the range of 80cc to 120cc knowing most seem to be 80 or 90cc.

Depending on what it is I may be willing to pay more but would love to find one in that range! My buddy picked up a used Suzuki 80cc (older model but runs great) for $450 last year and it has been great!
