Happy New Year,
I can’t thank the Field and Stream team enough for the generous donation that made this dinner possible.
My wife and I purchased the food with your donation and made the meal (well she made the meal…)
In addition we were able to secure enough donations to provide all the children and the chaperones with a $25.00 gift card to Meijer.
Most if not all of these children have never been to a store let alone go shopping.
Here are a few pictures from the Christmas night Dinner.
The joy in these children is remarkable!! My wife and I spent some time with these kids almost every day they were here and got to know them very well.
In one of the pics the young women is blessing the meal, Then all the women eat 1st then the men.
These children truely touched my heart!!
