An opportunity for me has arisen to support an organization called House of Providence.
"The House of Providence is a therapeutic home for minors who are wards of the State of Michigan and who find themselves languishing without a prospect of adoption. They provide vital ministry to children in need of intervention and support services. As a result of the direct care and individual attention given, these youths will grow into whole, independent and successful adults realizing the potential that God has destined for them."

House of Providence is currently renovating a home near Eastern Market in Detroit. One of their needs is having an outdoor stairway designed and constructed on the back side of the home. I can swing a hammer with the best of them, but I would not call myself a carpenter, let alone a designer!
I am looking for help on this project, both those that can support/build and one skilled carpenter who can be the Construction Lead. The stairway would be wolmanized outdoor style. All local codes must be followed.
This is something that I would like to get started as soon as we can, as I they are trying to get all in place for occupancy approval.
