Gobblers,Gospel and Guns III

A reflection of a great weekend, G3 was again a great event, each year we have new faces to share the hunt club with. We had 6 or 8 new faces there and it was a weekend filled with great stories and great teachings of Turkey hunting and Craig Lange provided a wonderful bible study on "Stepping out of the boat". John Bada was gracious enough to donate a smoker to the hunt club and provided some great ribs Saturday night for dinner. We had 100% participation for the bible studies each day and it was great to get different views on the same topic.Trent Masterson did another great job of trying to teach us the ways of the elusive gobbler. There was plenty of ammo shot and a few clays were exploding in the air. We had 2 attendees get thier 1st turkey just 3 weeks after this event. They were Blaise Dahmer and Nick Krauskoff, Great job guys. This event keeps getting bigger each year and with all the faces at the event it produces great friendships and great fellowship. Only 49 weeks till the next one. See you then.

Thanks to all the guys for chipping in by bringing food, cooking, cleaning, bringing clays, guns, and ammo to share. There was plenty of "sharpening" all weekend. I still can't get the view of the sky out of miy mind from Friday night out at the camp fire. Another great weekend at Bucks Only. Looking forward to many more :)

Nice job leading a study with Pastor Dan in the group, Scott. Aren't you glad we waited and told you he was a Pastor after...I would have been nervous as heck. :)

Great re-cap, Scott! It was a great weekend of fellowship and study. How wonderful it was to have the young men join us in both study and fellowship this year.
