It was a hot one out there yesterday! Without the breeze it would have been unbearable. With that being said, we had another great day on the water with some first time participants. I had the privilege of having Ed Davis and his two sons Nick and Mike aboard my boat this week. With the lake full of vegetation, the fishing was very difficult. Most of our time was reeling in weeds, clean them from the lure, and then casting. Reeling in weeds, cleaning the lure, cast....Jon Bada came out with his kayak and was able to limit out with 7 small mouth to win the first to limit out prize pool. He also was the winner of the longest non-target fish pot, with a 20 in. northern pike. The winner of the target fish pot was Wally Litsair with a small mouth just under 20 ins. Drew Yanke brought his son Kai, who caught a really nice large mouth. Bill Petrusha has become the Norm Peterson of the FF &F series events. Jim Hartwick was able to get his boat water ready and participate with us for the first time. Great times, but this week the winners were not in the Petty boat. Sorry Davis boys! Here's the numbers!
