Jim Hartwick has brought a mentoring / discipleship program to my attention. Kensington Church's own Edge Group is looking for men to mentor / disciple our own kids right here at Kensington. The program starts tonight ( Wednesday 10/13 ) and Jim is going. He will be asking questions on our behalf about putting together a program that could handle a few kids at a time with 1 or more of us each month. We are just putting our feelers out there but if this is your passion then please sound of with your interest and any ideas you may have. We figure, at a minimum, if 2 guys take a couple kids out for some discipleship through Gods great outdoors then we could cover a whole year with just 1 dozen men helping out only bi annually ( of course this is a bare minimum and we know we could make a much bigger impact being FAST members...... )
