Went to Bald Mt. shooting Saturday with Steve B., his son Connor, and Jon B. I had a great time, but I may have overdone it a wee bit. I paid for it later.

Later on I started to feel more of the effects of the chemo, which include leg and mouth pain along with feeling nauseated, and definitely not sleeping because of the steriods. At this point I apologized to Diane and told her she didn't sign up for this. At that point I saw one of the many reasons I fell in love with her 43 years ago. She got right back in my face and told me that is exactly what she promised to do. A covenant for better or worse, in sickness and in health. I have decided to sit back and be thankful.

I still can not stop thinking about all the other people going through this without the support that I have been receiving. It saddens me. My church and fire department friends, and family have been just amazing.

FYI... no hugs until after chemo is done.

Thanks!
