Hey FAST family!
I always like to take a few days from an event to post a discussion about it. This passed Sunday's Blessing of the Bikes event had a huge impact on some of us that were there on Saturday evening. Jim Hartwick lead a quick study and discussion, scripture reading and prayer session that was out of this world. The highlight of this years Blessing of the Bikes for me by far! Thanks Jim!
With that being said, without the Glasco's (Steve and Greg) staying with Bada and I all night, we would have had twice as much work to get the pork going. Steve and I seasoned the pork while Bada got them into the smoker. Greg was the biggest help, getting the buckets of marinating pork shoulders to us, and keeping us moving in the process. You guys deserve the most credit for the success of this years event. The "Behind the scenes", awards go to Steve and Greg!
Next year will have some serious improvements, more FAST exposure, and hopefully more guys at Saturday nights camp fire discussion. It was my pleasure to be a part of this event. Thanks to all that were there to help, you know who you are! Love you guys! Alright now!
