New to Kensington Community Church or interested in the Field and Stream Team (FAST), tell us a bit about your interests. If you're not new, tell us about your KCC experience, FAST, and your hobbies.
My family and I have been attending Kensington for almost 3 years now. We have tried to be as involved as possible with Kensington and the great opportunities that are offered. I have been to Man Up for the past two years and plan to be in attendance again this year. My wife has also attended the women's smash retreat, and as a family we attended rock your family last summer. I am also a volunteer with the Edge ministry and helped co-lead a group of 11th grade young men this past school year.
I have always had a passion for the outdoors and for all different types of sports. While hunting and fishing have always been an interest to me, I was raised by a single mother and unfortunately never really had anyone to teach me. With the blessing of my first son being born about three months ago, I decided to search out ways to become more knowledgeable in hunting and fishing because it is something I would love to do with my son and pass along to him as he gets older.
I have heard about this group many times during my time at Kensington. I am not only looking to find ways to get out and enjoy God's creation and grow in my knowledge of hunting and fishing, but I am also always looking to find other Christ followers to surround myself and my family with. Hopefully, this group can be a way of accomplishing those goals.
