Guys lets start talking about the possibility of hosting a simple fishing event for roughly 25 5th and 6th grade boys who attend Rogers elementary (Walton and Dexter near Opdyke).
Jerry Padovini has offer to take the planning lead on this. We have a good supply of used rods and reels. Locations could be Spenser Park in Rochester Hills. They rent boats and last I saw they had a pier for fishing.
This event could be on a Thursday night and held in cooperation with Jim Petty's Fellowship Fishing nights.
