Fall Restoration & Relaxation Weekend - October 3rd - October 5th, 2014

Wa Wa Sum Lodge 2014 Paul Young TU WaWaSum Blast & Cast Relaxation Weekend: Oct 3-5 Mark your calendars! On October 3-5, the Chapter will be having its Fall Relaxation Weekend at the historic WaWaSum lodge on the banks of the Au Sable River in Grayling and you are invited to join us.

This weekend will truly be for relaxing, fishing and getting to know some of the Chapter’s board members as well as what the Chapter is doing. However, for those who want to sample bugs as the Chapter has done in the past, the MiCorp bug sampling group will be meeting at the Eagles Club on M-72 at 9am sharp on Saturday morning. The cost for two nights lodging and breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday is $50 per person. Yup, you read that right…a mere $50.

In addition, as part of the weekend activities, we have arranged an optional pheasant hunt at Cherry Creek Farm (www.cherrycreekfarm.com) from 8:30 am – 1pm on Sunday, Oct. 5th. The cost of the pheasant hunt is $150 and includes 5 birds per hunter, guide, snacks and a light lunch. Those who aren’t interested in the pheasant hunt can shoot skeet or fish one of the Farm’s stocked trout ponds.

Space is limited at WaWaSum and the Pheasant Hunt can accommodate a maximum of 12 hunters (3 groups of 4) so make your reservations now through PayPal or by contacting Brian Considine at bconsidine@paulyoungtu.org.
