The storms held off for the hardy seven that braved the heat, humidity and humiliation. Breakfast attenders were Chris Sarsfield, Steve Buchan, Jim Kaminsky, Jason Middlemiss and Greg Jager. Marty Olkowski and Steve Andrews met us at the newly reopened Bald Mountain sporting clays course. Greg Jager was top gun, by a wide margin (do not invite him again), Marty is a wonderful teacher that coached the squad to improving scores as we went. Steve Andrews is a suprisingly good shot for someone his age. Jim Kaminsky shot well enough to put a good amount of meat on the table (if they were real birds), Chris Sarsfield has a really nice looking gun and Jason Middlemiss made the mistake of making a beautiful shot on the last clay of the day (now he has to come back). It was a good time of fellowship, shooting and supporting each other. I look forward to the next shoot.

Steve, thanks for setting up this event and it was a great morning to get out. Thanks to Greg and Marty for all the tips and help. And thanks to Steve for the nice looking gun that I was asked if I was interested in selling in the parking lot. It was great Steve Andrews made it out too. Let's hope he uses that gift card from the WGD dinner to get some new ear protection. I think the ones he has were used by Radar on MASH...actually, Radar's weren't held together by duct tape.
