For the past 3 and a half years I have have had surgeries, radiation and Chemo for my Cancers. I know many of you have supported me with prayers and kicks to the butt. I don't know if I can ever thank you all enough. Today my Dr. called with the results of my last PET scan. All clear, no signs of Malignancy anywhere. I asked if that was a good thing, and he said that it was a very good thing, one more blood test in a few weeks then I hope to get back to helping the team and others more.…

Bar Exam Progress

Well, the first couple of days of Bar Review have been pretty dry. Unfortunately I suspect that this is what I have to look forward until the Bar Exam. BarBri (the bar review company) sent us all a big box full of books that are full of the material we are supposed to use to study. The first five days of the course are a "workshop" where we attend a lecture from 9am - 3pm. Each day we go through 25 multiple choice questions in a given subject area. Then the lecturer…

Paint Creek. But no Pics.

I fished Paint Creek today. I was really surprised to see that I was the only one on the river being that it is a Saturday. I got down there at around 12:00pm. It was kinda slow, but I did get some trout during the first couple hours. They were all small except one that was likely about 10". Even the little ones are tons of fun to catch though, because they flip all over the place. ha ha. I was going to get a picture of the bigger one but he slipped out of my hands as soon as I got him…

1 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.2 The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the…

Meat needed

Good luck to all heading out this weekend.  Please please wear proper safety harness and be careful climbing up into stands.  Don't forget our WGD needs meat.  Donate what you can.  Label it with type and weight.

Genesis 27:3
Take your [hunting] gear, your quiver and bow, and go out in the field to hunt some game for me.

To be forgiven much, is to love much.

Saturday, July 9, 2011 I participated in BBQ in the park with my son Greg, my wife Kimberlie, and many of my FAST brothers. While I love to serve, I was about to receive more than I had bargained for.

On the drive to Detroit, Scott Wakefield, Greg, two wonderful women, and myself (Kim rode with Gator's wife) had an amazing conversation about "To be forgiven much, is to love much". I had a sense of comfort because I was going to help feed God's people. The company on the drive alone was…

La Carpio Costa Rica Medical Clinic

The medical clinic yesterday went very well. It was well attended and the people were extremely grateful for any help we could give them even when we couldn't give them much. Construction team worked their tails off rebuilding a foundation and the Kids team entertained a bunch of happy smiling kids. Off this morning to do it again. F.A.S.T. Members should know their generous donation is having an extremely positive impact here in La Carpio. Be well.

Man Up weekend

I realize it's going to be tough to do Craig's weekend and then Man Up weekend right into Bucks only weekend, but Spring Hill needs our group.  Lets show Kensington guys who and what we are.  Be a part, sign up and lets wear our shirts.  Plan now so it doesn't mess you up later.  I didn't do Man uP last year and I regret it.  Don't make the same mistake I did.

It is written where two or three are gathered in my name, there shall I be also. We experienced first hand God's mercy and amazing works through the actions and testimonies of the of the great men of FAST and their children. He provided the great outdoors, awesome weather, great food, and manna (the word) from heaven to feed and grow are spirits, as well as our bellies.
