Dave,
Sorry I cannot help. Going to be coaching or assisting 4 baseball/soccer games with my kids that Saturday. This is booking me from 10 till 7pm.
P.S. - I assume you mean the 19th of May.
Hi fellas, just to fill you in on what Matt was saying:
The Adult Outreach committee was planning to set up a tent with our banner and see if we can sponsor part of the One Fly event which is a charity fund raiser. Chuck mentioned the One Fly is planning to have a kids area this year around the pond in the park. This may be something the YOC may want to piggy-back on. Plus, a lot of us will be present to speak about FAST with the Adults there too. I believe the event is June 2nd but Chuck is looking into the sponsorship, tent, etc. You'll need to confirm with him.
I just talked with Sars and he wanted me to pass on this info:
The welcoming committee has already planned an event with the one fly competition on June 2nd. This also has a youth fishing event planned. I believe Chris also said it was at the pond in Rochester.
I Like Matt's idea, something new.
Guys, I am responding to Scott's last email. Can someone shoot this back on the comment wall so I know you all got it. Thanks
I would love to put a squirrel hunt together this year for our youth. Blaise and I have done this the last three years and it is a blast. We can do it anywhere ( BOHC or Bald Mtn, etc. ). This is truly the way to enjoy hunting with younger kids. Squirrel are the pan fish of the woods. Lots of action, always some success, and believe it or not they are great eats. Tender darker meat with a mild nutty flavor ( you are what you eat ! ). Would be great with some good treeing dogs as well.....
