I am looking for a place for my brothers and I to take my dad fishing close to Harrison Michigan.  He can't really travel much further than Houghton lake and we haven't had much success there.  Also the lake has been too low for our boat.  The four of us will be fishing out of a 20' Sea Ray.  Any other lakes in that area that are easy to get into and fish?

Budd Lake usually has a decent crowd on it during the summer, but it's as close to Harrison as it gets.  It's the smaller lakes around the are that are the honey holes.  Try Doc and Tom or Lake George, too.

Scott I am just reading this now...a little late but if you can get him to Gladwin I have an idea.
