Event Description

FAST Fishing & Fellowship Series #6

Lake St. Clair Bass will be the target fish for this week. (small mouth and large mouth count) Limit is 5 fish, so once you get 5 fish over 14 in. be sure to contact me via text/call to my cell phone for the first to limit out prize.

This weeks ramp is on South River Rd. Harrison Twp. east of Jefferson.

The  FAST Fishing & Fellowship Series, event #6 will be held on Lake St. Clair, fishing for bass. The fishing report has the bass stacked up in this lake. If you would like to participate in this event, please RSVP so we can get an accurate count of attendees. If you are coming, you need to post a comment on this events page, and tell us if you have a boat or not. And if you are bringing a boat, how many spots you have for non boat owner participants. If you don't have a boat, please tell us how many guys you will be bringing so we can fill the boats that are available. YOU MUST RSVP TO EACH WEEKS EVENT NO LATER THAN NOON ON WEDNESDAY THAT WEEK. This is going to be important so we can get as many guys into boats as we can. If we run out of seats I will post an announcement to the fact that we are full. (Unless another boat owner RSVP's) Let me say right now, I'm sorry if you don't get into a boat, I can't buy boats for everyone. If you get stuck without a seat in a boat for an event we will do our best to get you in the next weeks boats. So, it is your responsibility to let me know that you didn't get in one week, so I can move you to the front of the list for the next event. (Don't think that I will remember from one week to the next, when you RSVP for the next week, mention in your comment that you got left behind the last event.) I will need to nail all this down before the end of business on the Wednesday before the event. If you have questions, comments, or concerns please email me at or call/text to 248-514-0212

No boat, extra gas.  I'm there.

Well done Scott! You are in with Chuck, and Tou.

Looks like Jerry Padovini and his friend will also be joining us in another boat. This means we can move someone to their boat from mine. (I had 4, this will make it 3 for each boat.) So, Drew Y. will be with Jerry.

Also, if you don't have a states park indicator on your license plate sticker or a window decal, it will cost you $10 to park. If you don't want to pay this I can pick you up at the parking lot next to the gas station at the corner of Metro Prkw. and Jefferson. (It's a marine store that is out of business.) You must call me before 4:45 for this to work and I can only bring some many of you.

Looks like I'm in for this one finally. I can bring my Tracker as long as the waves are reasonable.  Got room for one more.

Thanks Chuck for joining us. Tou Yang was next in line for a seat in a boat for this event. He will meet you at the launch before 5. Also, if you think you can squeeze one more in than we could have 3 boats with 3 in two and one with 4?

Jim - can't do it this week.  My wife is out of town with work so I have to hold down the fort at home.  Good luck!

So the streak is over! Well maybe you should RSVP for this event and that will put you near the front of the line for next week. Also, a bass event on Lk. St. Clair?

Comment by Tou Yang on May 29, 2012 at 9:58am

Hey Jim, this is Tou Yang.  I'm plannning on joining this bass event but have no boat.  Please find me a spot.  God bless!

Thanks for your interest in this event. It looks like you are next to get into a boat, and Chuck Snyder has just RSVPed with a boat for you to get into. So we will see you at the ramp before 5pm. Be advised, the launch charges $10 if you don't have the parks pass for this year.

From what I understand, bass are not in season until the 3rd Sat of June on LSC:

Catch-and-Immediate-Release seasons: On the following waters, bass may be caught and released during the seasons listed. All bass caught must be immediately (see common terms p. 5) returned to the water: L. St. Clair, St. Clair R. and Detroit R., from the last Sat. in April – Fri. before the 3rd. Sat. in June;

Got room for 1 in my boat. I'll go for any fish you decide to target.

Hey Mark,

So you think you can squeeze you and 2 guys in your boat for this week? Ya, great thanks.

No boat either...
Also looking to carpool if that's alright...

You are the final seat in Mark's boat. Not sure who lives that way to carpool with. His boat is going to be full so be patient with him please..

Great Drew, you will be with Jerry P. in his friends boat.

Him Jim - If I can get a seat I would love to do it again.

Great Mark, you will be in Mark Prokops boat.
